Rules and Regulations for the Marathon
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be 18 years or older (for full marathon) and 14+ years (for shorter categories).
- Minors must have parental consent to participate.
- Participants must be physically fit and capable of completing the marathon.
2. Registration & Entry
- All participants must register online or at the event location before the deadline.
- Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Each participant will receive a race bib and timing chip (if applicable).
3. Race Day Guidelines
- Participants must wear their official race bibs throughout the marathon.
- No unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skates, or pets are allowed on the track.
- Any participant found using shortcuts or unfair means will be disqualified.
4. Safety & Medical Assistance
- Medical stations will be available along the route.
- If feeling unwell, immediately approach a medical staff member or volunteer.
- Hydration points will be set up at regular intervals.
5. Code of Conduct
- Be respectful to fellow runners, volunteers, and organizers.
- Littering is strictly prohibited; use designated trash bins.
- Follow the instructions of the race marshals and event staff at all times.
6. Timing & Results
- Official timing will be recorded using RFID timing chips (if applicable).
- Participants must cross all checkpoints to ensure accurate timing.
- Results will be announced post-event and winners will receive certificates and awards.
7. Disqualification & Penalties
- Any misconduct, cheating, or violation of rules will result in immediate disqualification.
- Runners who do not complete the entire route will not be eligible for medals or prizes.
8. Cancellation Policy
- The event may be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
- In case of cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
